Cartooning comes easier
Well, as I have a blog intended for the purposes of recording the creative journey, such as it is, and charting my attempts to get published, I should probably get writing.
The fact is, though, that while I am in the process of putting this website together I haven’t been motivated to do any writing. I think about writing a lot - usually while I’m at work and am drifting off into a world where three naughty little rats are causing havoc. But then I get home and it’s bleurgh. I think the appeal of cartooning is that the results are more instantaneous. I can see a finished product so much easier, get feedback so much quicker. But as long as I procrastinate like this, I’m just delaying the completion of my book. And then it becomes so many hollow excuses.
