Bruxing – A type of rat “purr”, where they grind their teeth very fast to show that they’re happy (or, in some cases, frightened or in pain).

Boggling – As above, only they bulge their eyes in and out very very verrry quickly.  It will freak you out.

    I recognize many of these expressions!
    The “I don’t already have a treat” for instance…so that you will give them a second one. It is amazing what rats can store in their mouth! Like hamsters!
    That Super Boggle with the tongue must look like the way your Digby is doing it ;)

    I think everyone who is keeping rats as pets will get a smile on his face, looking at these pictures.

    And Snitch and Smurt: Please behave! Jokes about being neutered are NOT funny, girls. And at least four of the Rats Inn ratties agree with me! ;)
